30Hz(Vertical Sound, Lot 49)
Friday 8 September
The Hold (Basement Of Admiral Bar - Waterloo Street)
Doors 11pm -3am Entry £5

Tongue’n'Groove is most proud to present yet another helping of tough, grimey edged breakbeat all the way from Bristol in the form of Vertical Sound label boss - 30Hz. Going way down into the murky depths of the frequency spectrum, Vertical Sound has established itself as one of the U.Ks top labels, releasing tunes by 30Hz, Circuitbreaker, Kraymon, Smithmonger & Moving Ninja to name but a few.
Taking influences from techy drum & bass, electro & hip hop of his native Washington U.S.A, 30Hz has released music on several top breaks imprints including Supercharged, Satamile & Cyberfunk and his forthcoming work on Lot49 promises to confirm his standing as one of the true pioneers of the Breakbeat scene.
As well as this, there will also be support from T’n'G residents Bloodruncold & Get-Effect who have pledged an oath to spin only the nastiest of beats, guest Dominic D’Sylva (Scrabble, Tap-Door), and visuals courtesy of 3stripe.

Put on something sexy and bring an open mind…
The Fabulous XXX Girls will drag you through the pornographic gutter with this debauched celebration of smut and stockings.
Musical accompaniment in tonight’s prurient programme will be provided by Manchester’s hottest producer and DJ, Mark One, who brings his grime crew Virus Syndicate to Glasgow for the first time. Their first album, The Work Related Illness, was released last year on Planet Mu to a rapturous reception, and a European tour saw them lay waste to crowds at the mighty festival triumvirate of Sonar, Glastonbury and Rosskilde.
